Product Engineering Manager

This key software engineering role will be responsible for supporting CAIRE, Inc. manufacturing by managing and supporting all lifecycle phases of various manufacturing software systems, and by supporting data analysis efforts for multiple teams within the department

This is a full-stack position with many roles

Complies with processes laid out by our Quality Management System to validate our usage of our software systems, as well as producing compliant documentation

Deploying and maintaining software development infrastructure (VCS, CI/CD, DevOps, etc)

Supporting investigative projects by leveraging our software systems and the data collected by them

Proposing and initiating changes to existing applications and new ones whenever such initiatives would be beneficial to our manufacturing processes and/or our various operational teams

Product Engineer: Software Engineer - Manufacturing Execution

JOB DESCRIPTION

This is a fully onsite position in Ball Ground, GA. **THIS ROLE IS NOT REMOTE OR HYBRID, YOU WILL REPORT TO OUR HQ IN BALL GROUND, GA, LOCATED 40 MILES NORTH OF ATLANTA.**

This key software engineering role will be responsible for supporting CAIRE, Inc. manufacturing by managing and supporting all lifecycle phases of various manufacturing software systems, and by supporting data analysis efforts for multiple teams within the department. This is a full-stack position with many roles.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for the design, development, documentation, validation, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of our in-house manufacturing software systems.

• Complies with processes laid out by our Quality Management System to validate our usage of our software systems, as well as producing compliant documentation.

Technical Abilities

• Some exposure to C#, Lua, YAML, JSON, PHP, and C/C++ preferred.

• Any proper Front-end web development framework such as Angular, React, or Vue.

• Familiarity with a diverse set of programming paradigms, especially Functional and OOP.

• Version control and issue tracking using Git and GitHub.

• Linux shell usage and Linux system administration.

• Exposure to hardware communication protocols such as I2C, Serial, etc.

• Familiarity with Docker and related technologies preferred.

• Designing unit, integration, and acceptance test criteria and executing them.
