Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer for Device Test Automation, you will play a key role in designing custom software solutions that validate and optimize the manufacturing process of cutting-edge IoT products
Collaborating with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers, you’ll develop high-performance systems that drive efficiency, accuracy, and product quality
Develop Manufacturing Test Software – Design and implement software solutions for automated device testing
Collaborate with Engineering Teams – Define test requirements alongside hardware, firmware, and manufacturing engineers
Integrate with Hardware & Instrumentation – Work with signal generators, meters, and other measurement devices
Deploy & Maintain Test Systems – Ensure software stability, scalability, and security in production environments
Leverage Advanced Technologies – Utilize C/C++/C#/.NET, Python, SQL, and distributed cloud services
Apply Modern Software Principles – Implement multithreading, parallelization, and scalable software architecture
Contribute to Agile Development – Participate in feature estimation, prioritization, and demos within an Agile framework
Job description
A leader in IoT and building automation is seeking a Software Engineer to design and develop advanced manufacturing test systems that ensure the quality and reliability of our smart automation products. Our solutions power some of the world’s most iconic buildings, including Government Buildings, Sports Stadiums, luxury hotels, and museums across every continent.

This full-time position is based near Allentown, PA / in the Lehigh Valley, offering a competitive salary, sponsorship, and relocation assistance for qualified candidates.

About the Role:

As a Software Engineer for Device Test Automation, you will play a key role in designing custom software solutions that validate and optimize the manufacturing process of cutting-edge IoT products. Collaborating with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers, you’ll develop high-performance systems that drive efficiency, accuracy, and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop Manufacturing Test Software – Design and implement software solutions for automated device testing.

Collaborate with Engineering Teams – Define test requirements alongside hardware, firmware, and manufacturing engineers.

Integrate with Hardware & Instrumentation – Work with signal generators, meters, and other measurement devices.

Deploy & Maintain Test Systems – Ensure software stability, scalability, and security in production environments.

Leverage Advanced Technologies – Utilize C/C++/C#/.NET, Python, SQL, and distributed cloud services.

What You Bring:

✔ Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Robotics (Bachelor’s or Master’s).

✔ Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, BitBucket, Confluence) is a plus.
