We are looking for a Software Engineer - Maximo who will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Should identify and provide Maximo product roadmap and strategy to the stakeholders
Should be able to lead, develop, implement, and upgrade Maximo solutions, ensuring they meet the business requirements
Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance for all aspects of the Maximo system, including architecture, design, development, implementation, and support
System Design and Architecture: Design and implement a robust and scalable Maximo architecture that aligns with business requirements and future growth plans
Implementation and Configuration: Lead the implementation and configuration of new Maximo modules and functionalities, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes
Customization and Development: Develop custom solutions, and integrations using Maximo's API, MBO customizations, and/or scripting languages to meet specific business needs
Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and reliability
Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support to users, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems related to the Maximo system
Team Management: Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment
Best Practices and Standards: Stay abreast of industry best practices and standards for asset management and Maximo implementations
Documentation and Training: Develop comprehensive documentation and training materials for users and administrators

We are looking for a Software Engineer - Maximo who will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Responsibilities

What you’ll be able to do:

Qualifications

The minimum requirements we seek:
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 15+ years of relevant work experience in architecting, implementing, developing, and customizing IBM Maximo applications in the Manufacturing/Automotive industries.
• Experience in designing and developing complex Maximo Customizations as per the functional requirements using Maximo Business Objects, Java, and Python Scripts

Our preferred qualifications:
• Strong experience in installing and upgrading Maximo applications.
• Ability to define technical upgrade path and Maximo application road maps.
• Ability to work independently in a semi-structured environment, applications often have frequently changed or vaguely defined requirements.
• Respect and empathy for team members, business partners, and product customer
• Demonstrated ability to deliver product roadmap milestones.
• Self-starter, ability to leverage various resources available to quickly learn and try out new concepts and technologies.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
