Job Description
In the Role you get:
• Test and qualify additional parts and accessories of the product
• Involve in country registration, knowledge of CCN (Change Control Notifications). control of changes to products used.
• Identification, tracking and interpretation of regional standards, regulation, and legislation to derive safety requirements on product, component and system level.
• Track and evaluate impact of testing and certification requirements on product and component design.
• Responsible for local quality and technical risk management. Track & review product documentation.
• Involve in Design Changes
• Update product labelling
• Experience working in a production environment, at multiple stages in the product lifecycle.
• You will work closely with Product Design Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Manufacturing Partners, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure Hardware products both meet and go above and beyond regulatory safety requirements.
• Translate product safety requirements into design requirements for engineers
• Provide guidance to project leaders and engineers regarding safety requirements, including tests and design constraints, to ensure the products satisfy various national and international safety regulations
• Translate product safety requirements into design requirements for engineers
• Collect and submit the necessary design documentation to NRTLs for evaluation and certification approval required for hazardous locations and explosive atmospheres
• Review engineering change orders on critical-to-safety parts to assess the level of risk and ensure that appropriate verification is completed prior to release
• Provide guidance and direction on maintaining adherence to relevant safety and regulatory standards, including upcoming changes to applicable standards
• Review label designs, technical publications, and operating manuals to ensure compliance for the intended operating environment
• Participate in any product safety escalations and provide guidance on containment and corrective actions
• Involve in Supplier change request, qualifying alternative suitable parts, and maintain parts obsolescence.
Qualifications
Our most successful candidates will have:
• Academic: BE / BTECH (Mechanical), Or Master’s Degree in Mechatronics preferred
• Functional Domain: Healthcare IT / IT Services Delivery domain.
• Experience: Relevant years of experience in similar role.
• Communication skills: Have strong verbal and written communication skills, be able to communicate in a clear, constructive, and professional manner.
• Personality: Good time-management skills.
• Team player: Be pro-active in developing trust and professional rapport with employees and team members; work as a team-player
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
