How and why we do it
At Kisi, you will have the freedom to do your work in the way you work best. There's a flat hierarchy (work alongside our co-founders Carl, Max, and Bernie), a strong sense of ownership, and the freedom to get creative. We also try to limit meetings as much as possible, so you can have dedicated focus time. Our mission is clear: ensure ease of facility access and remote space management, providing access systems to create a secure future where spaces are connected and accessible without boundaries.
Tasks
Your role
For our end users, your focus will lie on building a web app that perfectly covers their need for accessing doors shared with them - fast, reliable, and easy to use. For our admins, you will focus on building a web app that facilitates access management and empowers them to quickly gain insights into what is going on in their spaces, including building dashboards, auditing access trails, and configuring access restrictions and integrations.

Your responsibilities
• You are independently responsible for the entire lifecycle of the web app including engineering design, development, and deployment
• You passionately pursue and achieve goals that are your responsibility as the web app's technical owner, across teams and boundaries
• You improve code structure and architecture in service of testability and maintainability, and ensure the web stack stays up to date and best practices
Requirements
Your qualifications
• You share our values: forward, human, trusted, and responsible.
• You know JavaScript and TypeScript, React and related concepts and libraries, and of course the basic web technologies such as HTML and CSS.
• You know how to architect, build, test, and deploy web applications on top of JSON APIs (network, cache, ...)
• You don't need to be extremely proficient in everything, if you're a fast learner we'll help you pick it up
