About the role:
We are seeking a self-driven individual to join our founding team of engineers who value team and personal growth equally. Together we will build intelligently designed and scalable data systems, collaborative and persistent solutions, that work seamlessly for our increasing customers. You will be instrumental in designing scalable software solutions from scratch using various frontend and backend frameworks- with a customer centric approach.
• You will collaborate with others to create new product features, including the planning, research, implementation, and maintenance stages.
• You will assist in enhancing performance and reliability, as well as refining existing features.
• You will be able to understand customer feedback and build to make their lives easier through various product features.
You will be working closely with the CTO & Co-founder as a member of our core team.
Role Requirements:
• Optimise software architecture to deliver speed & cost improvements as scale hits 100x-1000x
• Design, deploy, and scale multi-tenant backend services
• Design, manage, and optimise data pipelines and Microservice architecture
• Implement automated test scripts, and perform manual testing when necessary
• Work with bi-directional client-server communication
• Deploy and monitor production services
• Building and maintaining scalable and reliable caching and DB solutions
• Respond to system outages and issues
• Adapt and learn new technologies
• Confidence and pride in the work that you do
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of working experience building software products
• Programming languages (Python, TypeScript, Javascript, NodeJS etc.)
• Frontend frameworks (React, Redux)
• Scalable and secure web services and frameworks (Flask, REST APIs)
• Building and maintaining scalable and reliable caching and DB solutions (Redis, Postgres)
• Data Warehouses (Redshift, BigQuery, SnowflakeDB)
• Strong communication skills
