Job Description
Collaborate within the team to apply the principles of design, development, testing, deployment, support, and evaluation.
Develop high quality software solutions with comprehensive test coverage.
Contribute to the technical design for system enhancements.
Participate as member of software development team with minimal supervision and occasional guidance.
Provide technical support and assistance to other non-technical members of the team.
Participate in code reviews.
Contribute in support and technical troubleshooting activity.
Requirements
Experience is 4-6 yrs ( min 4 yrs in murex can be considered)
At least 12 months’ working experience within Global Markets / Investment Banking business.
Working knowledge on at least one of the core trading product areas of FX, IRD, Commodities or Credit.
Working knowledge and practical support experience for at least 2 of the listed Murex components below:
Murex environment build and configuration (launchers and services)
Murex workflows (MXML)
Murex EOD cycle and processes
Datamart reporting
Market Risk and/or Credit Valuation Adjustment modules
Murex Parallel Computing (MPC) grid
Murex CTT / MxConfig
Real-time rates
MXTest
Practical coding skills in at least 3 of the following: UNIX shell scripting, SQL , PL/SQL, Java, XSLT, Python and Perl.
Working experience with CI/CD tools such as GIT, Jira, Teamcity, Artificatory , etc.
Working experience with automation / job scheduling tools such as Autosys and Jenkins
Working experience with Cloud technologies on AWS (cloud formation, networking, is highly desirable
Good communication and organisation skills working within a DevOps team supporting a wider IT delivery team
