Software Engineer (.Net 8 / Azure / React / Blazor / SQL)
£42,000 - £58,000 Basic + Bonus | Liverpool (Hybrid)
The role here is all about modern tech. The company thrive on experimenting with new ideas, and creating something that is totally new and fit for purpose.
Liverpool based, creating products for the Martech sector, they are at the forefront of technology, and are looking to add 2 Developers that share this mentality.
The work is varied. Full-stack with a focus more towards the back-end. Core work with .Net 8/SQL. With Front-End work across React, Blazor and some VueJs. Artificial Intelligence / AI is something they are also looking heavily into currently.
The variety of products created is vast. They have created an AI driven car researching tool. A fully digital test-driving tool and a configuration platform. They are currently launching a fully greenfield project which is heavily using AI. The AI would be talking to people about cars they might want to buy. Focused on performance. Some of their previous work includes an ad-tech product, blockchain based customer acquisition platform, chat-bots & a multi-channel contact centre solution.
The leaders in this business are well known in the Liverpool tech community. Hosting events and talking about modern and new technology (who better to work alongside than people like that)
In this role you will get plenty of exposure to Azure cloud services (Function Apps, Service Bus technologies etc).
Example of some of the work:
• Develop solutions for Event Driven Microservices based Platform utilizing Service Bus within Azure
• Identify Requirements with Key Stakeholders
• Design and deliver solutions following Agile Practice
• Define release plans for code modules and coordinate with stakeholders
• You will be developing both internal and external facing systems. Following a modern approach to CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Technical overview: C#, .Net 8, SQL, Blazor, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, CI/CD, Terraform (IaC), Azure cloud services (Function Apps, Service Bus technologies etc), TDD, Kubernetes, Agile, Git, CosmosDB, ElasticSearch, Web/Rest APIs, Microservices, EventStoreDB, AI, Docker, Blockchain
The work is with good tech. The company are using AI currently. Loads of Azure Cloud work (Service Bus/Functions etc).
Skills Needed
• Skilled .Net Developer - ideally .Net Core
• Fullstack ability - from Database SQL to FrontEnd work like React or Blazor (others considered)
• Cloud would be a nice to have but not a must have - they are massive with Azure
• A passion for developing software in your own time
• If you are not commercially working in some modern tech like Terraform, Azure, Microservices or containers (Docker/Kubernetes). Showing you have the interest and drive outside of work will be helpful
