We are looking for someone unafraid to raise the bar on platform technology. As a Full-Stack Developer, you love a broad scope of technologies and platforms and are looking for a role where you can have a real-world impact. As part of the Software Engineering team, you will play a critical role in our continued success in disrupting the transportation industry with our innovative technology.

Requirements

Excellent “interactive comms” (speaking live with others) are extremely

important for this role! We’ve run into issues in the past in difficulties

understanding and discussing the business logic.

Strongly-typed language experience, e.g. C#, Java, C/C++

Willingness to spend up to six working hours per day in a team-

programming environment during the onboarding phases of the

engagement, with potential for team-program being a regular team tool

E.g., a Zoom “meeting” with one or more team engineers working on

the same code/processes. Also called “mobbing” (more than two) or

“pair programming” (two), or “ensemble”. “Willingness” does not imply

prior experience! We expect limited to no experience with this.

Some experience writing database scripts and/or stored procedures in

a SQL database system

Familiarity with cloud-based platform services such as Azure or AWS

Familiarity with any version control system, e.g. Git, SVN, Mercurial, ...

Familiarity with build pipelines, e.g., GitActions, GitLab, BitBucket,

Azure DevOps, ...

Familiarity with any software ticketing system or process, e.g., Jira,

Solar, ServiceNow, etc.

Position is entirely backend software development

Mid-level to low-senior software engineer/developer experience in the

two to seven year range

Preferences

C# or Java primary language experience (C# house, but Java is very

similar)

Microsoft SQL Server database experience, specifically

Version Control in Git-based system (GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket)

Azure for cloud hosting technology

Azure DevOps pipelines for software delivery

Experience with business workflows similar to banking or other

“transactional logic” scenarios

Restrictions

Fullstack experience is not required; folks looking for “fullstack” work

may not prefer this posting! There is near-zero UI development on this

team and fullstack may be undesirable because of this!

An unwillingness to work synchronously at stages, even after

onboarding phase!
