The Senior Software Engineer will maintain and enhance our current suite of internal applications and data gathering spiders.
Essential
Duties
and Functions
• Maintaining and updating existing C# .NET websites and applications.
• Reviewing and
debugging
C# .NET applications
• Develop software by analyzing business requirements; conferring with management and users; analyzing systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.
Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills
• 3-+ years experience in C# .NET development
• Experience building and maintaining ASP.NET sites and C# windows forms apps
• Ability to write SQL queries with Microsoft SQL Server
• Understanding of HTTP protocol and how web requests are constructed
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Passion for writing clean, performant code
• Familiarity with distributed
version control
(git and mercurial) and github
• Bonus Points For
• Experience with Windows Server Administration, including IIS and SQL Server
• Experience with ES6, Coffee script, Bootstrap, Node, Ruby, Rails, Sass, and Postgres
• Experience with client-side javascript frameworks like backbone, react and angular
• Design sense for developing simple intuitive user interfaces
• Experience with Telerik Control
