Role/Department Description:
Client Services Engineering (CSE) performs a number of important roles at FactSet, including engineering solutions for our clients as well as internal solutions for the sales, consulting, and support teams. CSE's Production Services team is looking for a hard-working and out-of-the-box thinker who can help drive the success of these client-facing solutions and leverage their experience to bring new ideas and opportunities to the table.
Responsibilities:
• Full stack development (frontend, backend, and database) on client-facing systems as well as any related services
• Identify new technologies or processes that can better the solutions we provide to our clients
• Collaborate with other FactSet teams to source and surface data within our applications
• Work closely with other team members to establish and promote best development practices
Required Skills:
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
• 3-5 years of relevant industry experience
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Self-motivated and able to work both independently or with a group
• Desire to drive success at the team, organization, and company levels
• Experience with frontend development (TypeScript and VueJS a plus)
• Experience with backend development (C#, .NET Framework or .NET Core a plus)
• Experience with relational databases (SQL or PostgreSQL a plus
