**Job Title:** Software Engineer
**Company Overview**
We are Interplanetary Television (iTV), an innovative streaming platform offering news, educational, and entertainment content focused on science, technology, and space.
**Job Responsibilities**
This is a full-time remote role for a skilled Full Stack Developer with expertise in software development, programming, web design, and implementing video streaming features.
Develop day-to-day tasks including front-end and back-end web development, programming, web design, and implementing video streaming features.
Collaborate with C-level management, in-house technical personnel, and outsourced partners to ensure seamless online content delivery.
**Requirements**
Must be proficient in CMS (WordPress), languages such as PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery & AJAX.
Familiarity with Video Streaming platforms like Netflix using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Python, Java, GoLang, Node.js.
Experience with Payment Systems including PHP, JavaScript, Python, Java, jQuery.
Understanding of API integration, security protocols, Payment Gateway SDKs, frameworks, and libraries.
Knowledge of Stripe's SDKs, PayPal's SDKs, and WooCommerce extensions.
**Desired Qualifications**
Overall Front-End Development and Web Design skills.
Overall Back-End Web Development and Programming skills.
Experience with Web & Mobile Development, and video streaming technologies.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Experience with remote work and collaboration tools.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology preferred, or equivalent experience with a portfolio of at least 3 similar Live TV & VOD streaming platform projects.
