What you'll be doing..
Delivering solutions using Pega platform for Pega Case Management applications
Developing tools and features for improving the platform and deliver business requirements
Delivering features and functionalities with the required quality
Engaging with business and technology stakeholders and SMEs to come up with high level and low level design for implementation
Understanding interactions with upstream and downstream applications and its impact to the Pega applications and features
Ensuring adherence and enabling team on best practices
Monitoring and analyze exceptions and alerts reported in the logs and engage relevant teams based on RCA
Using professional concepts, company policies and procedures to solve a wide range of difficult problems in creative and practical ways
Being part of and develop Pega Community of Practice with Verizon and participate in practice initiatives
Delivering all facets of application optimally through Pega capabilities

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Three or more years of relevant work experience in developing Pega applications.
Worked on Pega 8.x versions.
Worked with branch development and understands CICD process.
Knowledge of PEGA Guardrails, performance tuning and building quality applications.
Experience in Java and Oracle technologies.
Have worked on integrations such as REST, SOAP, Kafka, and listeners such as File, Email, and MQ.
Engaged in code reviews and implemented best practices.
Worked on debugging code and platform issues and have expertise on Pega debugging tools such as Tracer, Rules and Alert Logs, and PDC portal.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Pega CSSA or LSA certification.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Domain experience of utilizing Pega capabilities at scale with strong internal operational understanding.
Knowledge of the NoSQL DBs.
Experience in OSS/BSS applications.
Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology.
Participated in Pega Hackathons and tools development.
Knowledge of Cloud deployments.
