👩💻The role:
As a Software Engineer on the Platform Team at Headout, you’ll build and optimize core infrastructure and tools that enhance system reliability and engineering efficiency. From managing cloud-based Kubernetes clusters and CI/CD workflows to improving observability, performance, and developer velocity, you’ll enable scalable solutions across teams. You’ll be expected to contribute to service-level dashboards, refine alerting mechanisms, and support incident management efforts across the organization. You’ll also help enforce security best practices through standardized guardrails.

💝What skills & experience do you need
• 1-3 years of experience in operating customer-facing services at scale.
• Experience in operating & optimising Kubernetes Clusters & their workloads.
• Comfortable working with any Cloud Provider - AWS, GCP, Azure, etc. Preferably AWS.
• Hands on with metrics & alerting stacks - Prometheus + Grafana + Thanos, NewRelic/Datadog.
• Experience in working with robust CI/CD workflows in any platform - Github, GitLab, Jenkins etc.
• Experience in IaC with Terraform or Pulumi.
• Fluency in Python, Go or Java/Kotlin languages & shell scripting.
• Experience working with databases like mysql, mongodb etc.
• Understanding of Security best practices and compliance requirements.
• High Agency to fix issues proactively.
