An exciting opportunity to work at the DIY CoE organization at Shell. We are looking for a talented Power platform developer with a passion for DIY and great interpersonal skills to join our team. The energy transition is underway and emerging digital technologies are redefining our operating environment and the way we work. The Power platform developer role is central to this. Customers vary from finance professionals to engineers, from scientists to health and safety specialists. The role is positioned within Shell’s digital organisation with a heavy emphasis on DIY and consultancy. The successful candidate will be well experienced in architecting, designing, and developing applications in Power platform. The candidate works very closely with all businesses and works across natural teams to provide technical consultancy and advisory, perform feasibility assessments, opportunity framing and advocates best practices and standards for the Power Platform. The DIY CoE is being established to work closely with DIY coaches in Business IT to help DIY developers start their DIY journeys and guide them on their way, including end-users with DIY technical, process and app design areas. And once the resulting apps reach value and usage thresholds that require a more robust and IT supported setup, the CoE will help achieve this too through professional development. Software Engineer is an individual with proven experience in adhering to software engineering best practices, delivering software products/applications that generate business value. You are expected to have customer focus, a continuous improvement mindset, drive value-based process, product/application optimization. Skills & Requirements:
• Minimum 6 years’ IT experience with designing and developing solutions.
• Very good understanding on Power platform
• PowerApps Canvas Application
• Cloud & Desktop Flows
• Model driven application with Dataverse (MS Structured Database) for specific environments
• PowerApps Custom Connector
• Power Virtual Agents
• AI Builder
• Understanding of how to utilize standard connectors
• Understanding of how to use premium connectors
• Understanding of PowerApps and Flow native Data Loss Prevention Policies
• Good understanding of SQL Databases, stored procedures and data views
• Understanding of PowerBI and ability to integrate with the underlying data area
• Understanding of SPO and PowerApps Canvas Apps within SPO to replace
• Infopath forms
• Other SharePoint Customizations

• Ability to analyze existing Shadow IT Solutions (Excel + VBA / Access 2010) design and redesign into a Canvas PowerApp
