The Opportunity
We are setting up a specialized high performance product engineering team for a Global Fintech major in Bangalore for building an enterprise grade high throughput transaction processing platform. The team will work on industry leading Fintech product generating more than USD.150 million in revenue and be part of a global engineering ecosystem.
The work location would be Electronic City, Bangalore.
Roles & Responsibility
We expect you to dig in & investigate needs from various viewpoints, understand the parts, but also see the entire system. Design and build great code that users seriously benefit from. Iterate in sprints in a pursuit to deliver, sharpen, and deepen. Own code and parts of product, ideate & suggest product/process improvements to tech & engineering/business folks. Strive to go beyond code to build IP.
• Analyse requirements, do gap analysis to deliver functionally complete product.
• Design & implement focusing strongly on usability, performance & operational aspects.
• Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, prioritization, dependency & risk management.
• Implement dev process in genuine spirit, with a mindset of continuous improvement.
• Ideate, suggest to tech folks and also engineering/business management.
• Deepen tech & domain knowledge to be contributing to product IP.
Qualifications
• Strong and proven expertise in software development using Core-Java
• Exposure to database and linux are essential
• Experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
