Cisco IT is looking for a dynamic Software Engineer with great technical leadership skills, and is eager to drive innovation in one of the most groundbreaking software and licensing business enablement platforms, and will be responsible for the following
• Develops information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions.
• Sustained, successful trajectory (at least 5 years) in software development & in leading or supporting the execution of software-focused groundbreaking initiatives in large organizations
• Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
• Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
• Investigates problem areas.
• Follows the software development lifecycle.
• Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
• Prepares and installs solutions by determining and crafting system specifications, standards, and programming.
• Improves operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.
• Obtains and licenses software by acquiring required information from vendors, recommending purchases, and testing and approving products.
• Maintain the quality of the application with unit coverage, 0 vulnerabilities and performant
• Have excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to confidently share vision & roadmap to internal/external audiences
Who You'll Work With
• You will report to a manager within the DES Product space.
• You will work closely with partners and IT leaders on strengthening the core of our commercial and software licensing platforms aligned with the transformation efforts.
• You will influence customers, partners, vendors, and peer IT team members
