Job Description
Software Engineer duties and responsibilities
• Development of high-quality database solutions
• Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL
• Comfortable with SQL Stored procedures. Expertise in writing SQL Queries.
• Create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to support application development.
• Strong focus on software quality, writing testable code and unit tests.
• Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
• EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, VDA) knowledge will be an added advantage.
• Working knowledge of Boomi Integration Platform.
Software Engineer requirements and qualifications
• 3 to 5 years of experience as a SQL Developer or similar role
• Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
• Skilled at optimizing large, complicated SQL statements.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as {Git / Azure DevOps}
• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Team player and good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
