Your Role
Strong Java developer who can design, modify, implement and unit test software applications while working in an agile environment. Has a good working knowledge of variety of technical concepts, practice and procedures. Relies on previous experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goal. Up-to-date on current and best practices related to software development.
Your Impact
The candidate is expected to work with "brains and passion" and is responsible to deliver key features in PTC's flag ship PLM product "Windchill".
Your Team
Windchill is flagship PLM product of PTC. Our team is responsible for building and owning critical modules and functionalities in Windchill. A great mix of experienced and young software professionals.
Your Day-to-Day
• Demonstration of problem-solving ability and innovation
• Design software modules.
• Develop and write well documented code with test automation that meets the agreed design and code quality criteria
• Deliver highly performant and scalable code
• Identify the performance/scalability hotspots and resolve
• Perform peer code reviews as and when needed
• Guide other team members
Required Skills
• Excellent problem solving and thinking ability
• 2 to 4 years of experience as software developer in Java/J2EE/OOAD
• Very Good verbal and written communication
• Very good in writing optimal complex SQL queries in Oracle/SQLServer
