Responsibilities & Deliverables:
Your deliverables as a Software Engineer will include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Participates in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements.
• Design, develop and implement mission critical financial messaging systems.
• Tests, debugs, analyzes, and fixes application problems/issues. Works closely with stakeholders to fix issues in a timely fashion.
• Follows the software development lifecycle process.
• Interacts with internal stakeholders to support product releases and/or resolve program problems.
• Be an active team player in an Agile development environment.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

Required Experience:
• 2 - 5 years’ software development experience including design and development.
• Education to degree level in Computer Science or another technical related field.
• Experience with Java, Spring / Spring Boot, Hibernate, Microservices, SQL, Maven, JPA, Junit
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL / Oracle
• Good to have knowledge of Docker/Cloud Technologies
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, web-front-end, HTML, CSS preferred.
• Experience using Linux systems/ Basic command knowledge.
• Bash scripting experience is a plus.
• Experience on Apache Solar/elastic search/Lucene indexing, Messaging Systems such as MQ, JMS, HornetQ (Nice to have)
• Knowledge of Agile software development methodology.
• Ability to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity independently.
• Strong technical, analytical, and development skills
