Sourcewiz is on a mission to digitise the supply chain of hard and soft goods and build a transparent, sustainable supply chain of the future! Our first product helps SME exporters to digitise their operations and improve their operations in order to serve international buyers better. Sourcewiz plans to bring the entire supply chain, mills, exporters, logistics, financing and buyers all on a single platform. We have raised $6M from tier 1 investors such as Matrix Partners, Alpha Wave Global and Blume Ventures .
Sourcewiz is led by a team of IIT Delhi graduates with experience of working with top firms such as Bessemer Venture Partners, Zomato, Uber and Ola.
We’re looking for people with a strong interest in building successful products or systems; are comfortable in dealing with lots of moving pieces; have exquisite attention to detail, and are comfortable learning new technologies and systems.
Responsibilities :
• Design and build user-facing products, owning the entire process from gathering functional requirements from teams, through testing and staging, to deploying in a Python based stack
• Guide the team in making technical trade-offs
• Proactively identify bottlenecks, areas for improvement and put forth a plan to course-correct
• Design and implement maintainable backend services, including data processing pipelines, APIs and internal tools
• Adding new features and improving the functionality of existing systems
• Coordinating with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions
We love if you have :
• Technical Experience working with Python/Django, Relational databases and Microservices
• A strong technical background. Ideally 3+ years work experience.
• Care deeply about providing a great user experience to our users.
• An ability to wear multiple hats complemented by an ability to focus in on a single project when needed.
• A preference for simple solutions that can be implemented immediately with a good intuition for what is lasting and scalable
