We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to work with FIM, CAR, SAQ products. Along with an opportunity to work with a team of talented engineers and architects, it is also an opportunity to build long term career and continuous learning. You will be involved in analyzing use cases, participate in design discussions, perform quality assurance activities etc.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in analyzing use cases, design discussion to gain knowledge of work to be done.
• Create test plans, test cases, and test data for various types of testing (functional, regression, integration, etc.).
• Execute test cases and ensure the software meets quality and performance standards.
• Identify, document, and track software defects. Collaborate with the development team to resolve issues.
• Prepare and configure test environments, including software installations and configurations.
• Maintain test documentation, including test cases, test results, and defect reports.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to ensure the software's quality and reliability.
• Conduct exploratory testing to find defects that test cases might not cover.
• Adherence to Quality Standards: Ensure adherence to quality assurance and testing best practices.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest testing techniques, tools, and industry trends.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Candidate having 1 to 2 years of experience in QA role in a product company.
• Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux commands is required.
• Experience with Web application standards (Web services, XML, JSON, HTTP, HTTPS) and API testing.
• Good understanding of Database concepts and good working knowledge of Oracle, PLSQL & JDBC.
• Experience with test and defect management tools like Jira.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and oral communication, self-starter and desire to learn.
• Working knowledge of Docker containers/ Kubernetes/ CICD pipeline and working with build management tools like Git, Bamboo, and Jenkins.
Good to Have:
• Prior Experience with Test Automation tools like Selenium & knowledge of test automation frameworks like TestNG, and Cucumber.
• White box testing exposure is desirable.
• Experience in the Security/Performance domain is an advantage.
• Prior experience in working with a globally distributed team is a plus
