Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a highly skilled SDET with expertise in both manual and automation testing to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing manual test cases while also developing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. This role requires a deep understanding of software testing methodologies, test automation frameworks, and collaboration with development teams to drive high-quality software releases.
Responsibilities
Manual Testing Responsibilities:
• Analyze business and functional requirements to create detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing on web, mobile, and API applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects using TFS, JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar bug-tracking tools.
Automation Testing Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks for UI, API, and database testing.
• Implement and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or RestAssured.
• Ensure high test coverage through automation and continuously improve the framework for better efficiency.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience:
• 2+ years of experience in software testing (both manual and automation).
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Expertise in test case design, test execution, defect reporting, and tracking.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript) for test automation.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, PyTest.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, TFS) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
