Job description

Roles and Responsibilities:

Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

BS+4-8 YRS or MS+2-6 YRSSystem Admin

Basic Qual:

A Computer Science or Information Technology BS Degree Strong knowledge of Desktop and Server administration (preferably both Windows and Linux) Experience in software programming C++ and C#Knowledge of administration of Active Directory, especially Group Policy US citizenship

Desired Skills:

Certification or training in the below areas would be desired.*Security+ *CCNA or CCENT (Network) *Linux+ *VM *Window Server *Window Desktop

• Knowledge of Hypervisors and virtual machines

• Understanding of client-server operations

• Knowledge of Security and Information Assurance (Cyber Security) Requirements

• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or VB Script

• Experience with DevOps / Continuous Integration: Using tools such as Jenkins/Git to automate builds/testing
