Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer to join our team at General Dynamics Information Technology. As a key member of our CNIC N6 IT Support team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Commander, Navy Installation Command (CNIC) TWMS application.
In this role, you will design, develop, and code modules for the Navy Total Workforce Management (TWMS) software application. You will work with our team to identify and implement appropriate information security functionality to ensure uniform application security policy and enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain web applications for the Department of the Navy's Total Workforce Management Services (TWMS) software application.
Design and code modules for the Navy Total Workforce Management (TWMS).
Utilize Visual Studio, Classic ASP, ASP.NET, C#, HTML, CS, Bootstrap, MS SQL language, and MS-SQL Server Management Studio.
Built-in intelligence into systems deployed to operational environments (Windows Server).
Assist architects and systems developers in identifying and implementing appropriate information security functionality.
Requirements:
8 years of relevant IT experience.
Experience developing applications in an AWS cloud environment.
DoD 8570 IAT II compliant - Security+ CE certification.
BS Degree or equivalent Computer Science or IT related degree.
