We are seeking an exceptional Software Engineer with expertise in C or C++ programming languages, strong Linux skills, and experience developing real-time multi-threaded applications on multi-core platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a solid Software Engineering background, technical knowledge of networking protocols, and excellent problem-solving skills to develop and deliver SD-WAN/SASE appliance software subsystems and features.
The ability to work with a large codebase is essential. Special preference will be given to candidates with strong backgrounds in Software Performance Engineering.
How you'll make your mark:
Architect, Design, and Develop data path subsystems/features in the following areas:
Application Visualization and Control, Policy Infrastructure
Link Management, Tunnel Management, and Flow Management
TCP/IP and SSL Proxy
High Availability Framework
IPv4/IPv6 Routing (OSPF, BGP, and Multicast) and Applications (HTTP, DNS, DHCP, VRRP, AAA, IKE)
What you need to bring:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent required; master's degree preferred
2-5 years of development experience
Excellent coding skills in C or C++
Hands-on experience working in a Linux environment with a strong understanding of Linux operating system functionality and capabilities
Expertise developing real-time multi-threaded applications on multi-core platforms
Strong Software Engineering background
Good understanding of Routing and Switching Protocols (OSPF, BGP, VRRP etc.)
Solid technical knowledge of networking protocols and applications, including:
Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP, GRE Tunneling, IP Security, Firewall etc.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent problem-solving skills with a self-motivated approach to tackling complex technical issues
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
