Qualifications
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S
5 years of work experience in hands on software development, DevOps or Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, Software Engineer in Test, or SDET
API Automation: Experience in testing REST and SOAP services, using appropriate API testing tools and frameworks
SQL for Testing: Ability to write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and back-end functionality
Expert in Test Heuristics, Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and well versed in SFDIPOT
Demonstrated proficiency in extending automation framework, enhancing automation coverage, integrated, end-to-end systems and advanced testing methodologies
Hands on experience with load/performance testing, CI/CD tools, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub and common cloud platforms
Proficient in at least one of the common OO languages, including Python, Java, etc
Clear and effective communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills
Expert experience in test automation development using common automation framework and Agile testing methodologies

Responsibilities
The SDET Lead will build patterns that the rest of the team will follow to extend test automation
In this role, you will work closely with the cross functional teams, software developers, business analysts, software architects, product managers, and other stakeholders to design, develop, and apply innovative test solutions for an enterprise scale, cloud-based software ecosystem that has tight integrations with multiple systems
The Lead Software Development Engineer in Test will be a hands-on, individual contributor responsible for designing & developing our testing automation framework utilizing best in class tools and integrations between tools.]
Work closely with development, product, and QA teams to define test cases and requirements
Create complex cross-functional automated test that span multiple applications and create integrations between test suites and test tools
Define strategies, tools, and automated scripts for creating test data using automation
Design, create and maintain an interface where non-automation/non-technical business users can run automation scripts to do basic repetitive tasks
Collaborate with the IT teams on the development of best practices that provide continuous integration and delivery
Continuously evaluate project risks and recommend actions to mitigate any potential quality or delivery challenges
