Software Engineer IT Roles and Responsibilities
• Works closely with business and stakeholders to understand new requirements and enhancement requests
• Translates business requirements into solution specifications by working and refining user stories with product manager
• Supports the assessment of solution designs for business value, affordability, extensibility, and reuse
• Helps stakeholders define and execute acceptance criteria
• Applies security and controls principles when characterizing business processes, addressing business risks, and specifying requirements (especially related to confidentiality, integrity, and availability)
• Participate and contribute in all agile ceremonies
• Supports the assessment of solution designs for business value, affordability, extensibility, and reuse
• Completes user stories on time with defined acceptance criteria and highlights risk appropriately to senior leadership teams
Skills Required
Strong Java Knowledge
• Spring boot
• Microservices Architecture knowledge
• Hibernate/JPA
• Good analytical skills
