In today’s highly competitive financial markets, firms must be able to compute and report counterparty credit risk and market risk at lighting fast, intra-day, end of day and at regular time periods – all within stipulated timelines that should meet SLAs. Software vendors like FIS offers customized solutions that caters to the needs of specific customers. The team of highly motivated and self-driven FIS engineers help maintain SLAs of customers across globe by resolving issues around the risk system, client specific customizations and integration layers between various components.
What you will be doing
This position is into a development team to:
Analyze and resolve issues on an industry leading credit and market risk system.
Fix any bugs around integration layers between various components of the solution.
Develop and manage cloud native product(s).
Develop solutions using C#.net.
Interact with clients, client services, development and product managers and provide fast resolution of critical problems.
What you bring:
Knowledge / Experience
7-10 years of experience in software development
Strong understanding of AWS and its managed services like Elastic Cache, EKS, Amazon MQ, etc.
Experience working with Docker/Kubernetes.
Hands on experience with Application containerization and migration to cloud.
Experience working with Infrastructure as code in Terraform.
Knowledge of Elastic Search, Fluentd and Kibana.
Good understanding of networking in AWS.
Hands on C# experience, with design patterns and complex architectures.
Strong OOPS concepts
Good understanding of Agile development practices.
Additional requirements (good to have) –
Exposure to Automated testing, Continuous Integration – processes, tools etc.
Knowhow of Git
Qualifications
Graduate or postgraduate in computer engineering (B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech)
Master’s degree in computer applications (MCA)
Graduate in any discipline with solid experience in computer engineering.
Competencies
Fluent in English
Excellent communicator – ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion.
Attention to detail – track record of authoring high quality documentation.
Organized approach – manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements.
Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team
Must be able to perform under pressure.
Must learn and maintain knowledge of software components as necessary to support application builds and deployments and maintaining production environments.
