Job Description
Design and develop microservice-based application software using Java Spring Framework on Pivotal Cloud Foundry and Google Cloud Platform
• Contribute to feature and user story development/backlog refinement as part of the team’s Agile methodology
• Assist with source code maintenance, application builds, and code releases
• Collaborate with business partners and other product teams on project design, development, integration, testing, and deployments
• Support the production application monitor and evaluate system performance; quickly address production incidents
• Identify and drive implementation of system improvements to enhance availability, performance, and quality of the application
Skills Required
JAVA 11, Spring boot, PCF (Pivotal cloud foundry), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microservices, REST/SOAP, Gradle, Tekton, MS SQL, PostGreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka, ECS/GCS, GitHub, Dynatrace, Splunk
Skills Preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
• Exceptional abilities in troubleshooting application and performance issues
• Strong commitment to quality practices; Experience with test-driven development
• Ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities
• Demonstrated initiative as well as the ability to work independently
Experience Required
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 8+ years of software development experience with Java, Spring and REST services
• 4+ years experience with cloud microservices development (PCF, GCP)
• 4+ years experience with Microsoft SQL Server and 2+ year with MongoDB and other database technologies
• 2+ years experience with Splunk and Dynatrace
• 2+ years experience with GitHub, Tekton/Jenkins and Gradle
• 2+ years experience with Agile development methodologies
Education Required
B.E/BTech in Computer Science /Equivalent
