About The Team
The FIS NAP team will be Operating core-banking for one of the world’s largest payment processors requires diligence and experience designing and running highly available, highly scalable systems in production.
Worldpay is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to help join a new SRE function within giving you the chance to shape best practices as we migrate our core acquiring platform to a cloud based micro-services architecture.
What You Will Be Doing
UI Developer Skillset~
• Develop user interfaces using the AngularJS, Ionic framework(s)
• Experience with unit testing tools like Junit or Jasmine
• Good debugging skills
• Knowledge of NodeJS, ReactJS, NPM, GitHub
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, Ajax, TypeScript and JavaScript
• Translate UI/UX design wireframes to actual code
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL
• Ability to work within an agile environment
• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating a variety of influencing styles to enable effective completion of tasks both individually and within groups. Builds sustainable relationships with colleagues and key individuals in the business and IT team from executive management through to technical levels
• Ability to take complex, multi-faceted ideas, objectives, or problems and work with them through to simple solutions recognising synergies and options
• Ability to communicate, document, share knowledge, and be example to the team
Nice to have skills/knowledge
• Experience with back-end technologies, Express is a plus
• AWS (Storage, Database, API & deployment)
• Kafka Queue
• Dockers, Kubernetes
