Software Engineer - QA
As a QA Engineer with expertise in Functional and Automation Testing with Convera based in our Pune office, you will be responsible for developing and implementing robust test automation solutions for functional, integration and non-functional tests. You will use your knowledge of test automation approaches, best practices, and techniques to develop efficient and scalable solutions for test automation.
You will be responsible for:
• Designing, Testing scenarios and Test cases that demonstrate conformance to all functional and non-functional requirements
• Analyzing bugs and errors found during tests
• Documenting results of tests for the software development team
• Updating Automation scripts as required
• Recommending improvements in software to enhance user experience
• Recommending improvements in Automation framework as required
• Motivating the development process for efficiency and performance
• Working together and collaborating with the development team to enhance and improve the product
You should apply if you have:
• B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA in Computer Science, Engineering or related field is required
• A role at this level typically requires 3-7 years' experience of working as a Quality Assurance Engineer
• Significant Functional as well as Automation testing Experience
• Knowledge and experience of the Quality Assurance process, including various phases of Testing
• Experience with Core Java, Selenium, Cucumber
• Experience in testing APIs and WebServices
• Knowledge of Databases (RDBMS/No SQL), Couchbase.
• Exposure to Performance testing
• Basic CI/CD (Jenkins), GIT knowledge
• Expertise in JIRA
• Basic knowledge of AWS
