Position Summary
Job Description:
Strong MS SQL Development Skills using SQL Server 2016 or higher.
Skilled at optimizing large, complicated SQL statements.
Familiar with tools that can aid with profiling server resource usage and optimizing it.
Reviewing query performance and optimizing code.
Creating table indexes to improve database performance.
Programming views, stored procedures, and functions.
Tuning T-SQL queries to improve performance.
Create,maintain,optimize stored procedures, database and ETL processes.
Troubleshooting Slow running queries.
Should have Extensive experience in writing T-SQL Queries.
Optimization of existing data consolidation code
Monitoring and fine-tuning databases for optimal performance.
Clustering, cloud, and Always on Availability environment knowledge.
Maintain databases availability as per multiple customer Service Level Agreements (SLA) with proper monitoring tools and services, within Statement of Work defined support services.
Respond to incident tickets and provide updates in a timely manner. Escalate where and when necessary.
Perform database tuning activities where appropriate and within proper change process.
SSRS and SSIS knowledge will be the added advantage.
