Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree, Software Engineeringor related field (Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Analytics)
Ability to code in at least one language (ideally one object-oriented language such as Java, C# or Python)
Familiar with web technologies such as HTML/CSS/JS/TS
Experience using git
Exposure to testing of code (unit test, component test, integration tests etc)
Ability to learn and pickup new technologies, languages, design patterns etc
Ability to take feedback and listen to senior members of the team, this is a great learning opportunity!
Ideally familiar with React and TypeScript but not required
Ideally have a working knowledge of basic database and query concepts
Participation in Pega and intern specific events such as social events, volunteer opportunities, group projects, team outings, etc

Responsibilities

Professional development seminars and meet & greets with Pega’s CEO and Founder, and Executive Leadership Team through our “Coffee Break Series”

The Insights team, as part of Shared User Services Engineering, handles the authoring and rendering of Tables and Charts (Insights) across multiple platforms. Our past interns have worked directly with the development team and product owner, where they have contributed real value to the product.

What You'll Do At Pega
