Software Engineer – .NET and Azure


Location: Sydney CBD | Work Type: Full-time | Hybrid Role (3 days in office)

The Opportunity
BGIS is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design, develop and support enterprise-grade applications across our business. You’ll work with modern technologies including .NET, Azure Integration Services, and AI to deliver impactful solutions in a collaborative environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Develop and maintain secure, cloud-based applications using .NET and Azure
Integrate AI and automation to drive efficiency and performance
Collaborate with solution architects, developers, and business teams
Participate in the full SDLC – from design and testing to deployment and support
Maintain clear documentation and ensure applications meet security and compliance standards
What You’ll Bring

5+ years of .NET development experience, including Azure integration
Experience with AI or automation technologies in enterprise settings
Proficiency in CI/CD and DevOps practices
Solid database knowledge (SQL and NoSQL)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Desirable

Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline
Familiarity with cybersecurity practices and cloud architecture
