Deloitte Tax Services India Private Limited commenced operations in June 2004. Since then, nearly all of the Deloitte Tax LLP (“Deloitte Tax”) U.S. service lines have obtained support through Deloitte Tax in India. Senior developer will be responsible for design, development, debugging, testing, deploying and supporting custom applications and modules that meet business requirements. Candidate will demonstrate a good understanding and working knowledge of the client's business and tax systems, and for meeting client deadlines.

This role is of a Senior Developer who has expert level knowledge designing & developing modern web applications using technologies like ASP.NET MVC, HTML5, CSS, Angular JS, jQuery, Web API, and bootstrap.

• Working with an agile methodology
• Team player and ability to work with team members who are at different levels (junior developers, peers and business teams)
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in challenging situations with tight deadlines.
• Availability to assist team members when help is needed.
• Knowledge of unit testing and knowledge of test-driven development
• Ability to mentor other team members.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to gather and analyze requirements, produce technical designs, create the application, conduct software testing, implement the software solution, and support production issues.

Qualifications, Preferred Skills, and Experience:

Qualification: B.E/B. Tech/MCA/MSC/MS
• At least 7+ years’ experience in software development with working knowledge in analysis, design, and development of applications and/or systems using .NET and SQL.
• Experience in .NET Framework (4.x)
• Working knowledge of ASP.NET web forms
• Working knowledge of OAUTH/OAUTH 2.0
• Good knowledge of Entity Framework and LINQ
• Very good in SQL querying and writing stored procedures to handle large data set (SQL Server specific is fine)
• Working knowledge of MongoDB is helpful
• Logging frameworks (e.g., NLog, Serilog); also, Application Insights
• JavaScript knowledge is important
• Working knowledge of jQuery
• Bootstrap UI framework
• WebApi-based development
• Async and multi-threaded programming
• Knowledge of design patterns
• Experience of web page performance optimization
• Development of application architecture, database design and/or computing platforms is a plus
• Ability to perform data intensive tasks and be skilled to organize the data for reporting requirements
• Ability to think analytically with good problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of Azure Service bus and Azure platforms like SQL Azure
