Job Description
As a Test Automation Engineer, you will transform testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy, and integrity. You will evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions. Your typical day will involve implementing quality processes, utilizing automation tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
Roles & Responsibilities:
-Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
-Responsible for team decisions.
-Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
-Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
-Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
-Execute automated tests and analyze test results.
-Identify and report software defects and issues.
-Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of defects.
-Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process.
-Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in test automation.
-Train and mentor junior team members in test automation best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
-Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Automated Testing.
-Good To Have Skills: Experience with API testing with BDD framework and Cucumber.
-Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
-Experience in designing and implementing automated test frameworks.
-Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python.
-Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery tools.
-Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex software issues.
-Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Additional Information:
-The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Automated Testing.
-This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
-A BE degree is required."
