About the Internship:
Primesoft (www.primesoftinc.com) is a US-headquartered company providing software solutions to clients in the USA, Australia, Middle-east and India. We have global development centers in Chennai and Hyderabad.
We are looking to augment our team with fresh graduate engineers who are passionate about working on the latest technologies in high-performance teams. Our client is a Canada-based software and platform provider specializing in the distribution of premium video to IP-connected devices. Our client's cloud-
native platform powers video services for Tier 1 streaming providers, among them aha, Rogers Sports & Media's Sportsnet Now, and PLDT's Smart Communications.
As a developer, you will be required to individually (or in a team, under a project leader) design and develop cloud-native web applications, and test and deploy them online. Your role will be extremely important as you would have to work on top-notch client projects.
Key responsibilities:
1. Get complete exposure and experience by working on niche technologies like data science, GoLang, React
2. Gain hands-on experience on Video-on-demand and Live-streaming platforms
Requirements:
1. Excellent aptitude, communication, and technical skills in any programming language
2. Capable of hands-on problem-solving, with the ability to generate ideas and solutions
3. Strong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation
4. Excellent organizational and time management skills
5. A positive attitude to dealing with people
6. Capable of working independently, and having responsibility as an individual
Selection Process:
1. You would need to go through an online assessment
2. The shortlists with go through a technical interview round 1
3. Further shortlisted will have a final round of interviews with the client
1. Preferably bachelor in (computer science and information technology) with excellent academic records (2026/2026 passed outs)
