Software Engineer VPN
Job Description:
We are looking for a Software Engineer in Network Security with focus on VPN Technologies, most prominently openVPN and Strongswan, but also the underlying technologies, like IPsec and other Internet encryption technologies.
All this happens in a Team of very experienced System Engineers, but the culture and setup inside SUSE endorses and even requires collaboration with almost any other Engineering Team. Collaboration with Upstream is also a must in this role. so you should already have had contact with Open Source Communities.
Your profile:
• Expertise in network security protocols, especially IPsec
• Expertise in programming security software
• Expertise in secure programming
• Very good English skills, verbal and in written
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:
• Maintaining and updating the relevant parts of the different SUSE Products
• Ensure that the relevant parts are secure and properly integrated
• Adoption of these implantations to fit the different Security certifications SUSE has currently and in future.
