About The Job
It’s an exciting time to join Nordic Semiconductor as we continue our rapid growth while perusing high ambitions with dedicated colleagues worldwide. Nordic Semiconductor´s R&D capacity is expanding and we are looking to recruit talented junior and senior Physical layer Developers to join our world-leading cross functional teams. You will be responsible for developing and implementing algorithms for our Wi-Fi chips as well as supporting hardware and firmware team for debugging real time issue, as we enhance our Wi-Fi portfolio with cutting-edge protocols and features.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
• Design and simulation of physical layer algorithms primarily related to IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be standards in MATLAB/python.
• Implementation of Algorithms in Matlab/C with fixed-pointing as required.
• Supporting hardware team to implement these algorithms
• Support in debugging real-time issues
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in communication and/or signal processing or related area with minimum of 5 years of experience
• Strong fundamentals in Signal Processing and Communications system design
• Knowledge and experience in designing Physical Layer Algorithms for OFDM – Synchronization, Equalization, MIMO decoding, AGC, timing/clock recovery, etc.
• Good Matlab coding skills
• Experience in implementing algorithms in fixed point C
• Domain knowledge and 5+ years of working experience of 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be standard(s) or another communication system, e.g. LTE, is a must.
• Knowledge of Python scripting is strongly recommended.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
