Role: Software Engineering Intern
Internship Location: Bangalore / Remote

Our Engineering Team architects the underlying operating system, core services, platform infrastructure, dev toolkits, core algorithms, machine learning models, packaged end-user apps, and app store marketplace. Instabase engineers are excited to solve hard problems for complex organizations and are self-starters from day one.
In this role at Instabase, you will be responsible for designing and developing our platform and tools for document understanding, touching various layers of the stack. This will involve work across a variety of disciplines from designing and developing the backend infrastructure that powers Instabase’s services and applications that can run millions of tasks on thousands of machines with reliable SLA guarantees, to building and deploying models focused on machine learning and natural language processing to understand documents and extract information from them.
Depending on the path you choose, it will require knowledge in one or more of the following
• Fundamentals of Distributed Systems
• RPS Frameworks: Thrift, gRPC
• Cloud Services: Google Cloud, AWS, Azure
• Languages: Go, Python, Java, C++
• Web Toolkits + Database Systems
• Infra Tools: Docker, Kubernetes
• Data analysis tools (ex: pandas), NLP tools/software (ex: spacy, Stanford NLP), Image Processing tools (for example OpenCV)
• Machine Learning tools (for example sci-kit-learn, TensorFlow, etc.)
Along with the interesting work, you will also enjoy a great stipend and cool perks.
