The Opportunity
“Come join our product development team to provide thought leadership and innovation. This role provides the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of our business, work closely with product management to architect, design and develop a highly feature rich product.
What You’ll Contribute
• Provide software quality assurance input to project plans, schedules, and software designs.
• Dissect feature requirements and design documentation to develop clear, comprehensive, and concise test plans.
Design, document and execute manual tests against multiple target environments. Design, develop and execute automated regression tests. Apply appropriate strategies to undertake system, integration, and regression testing of completed software.
Create and maintain formal documentation during all stages of test development and execution.
• Support other QA staff in the team when dealing with test challenges, problems related to testing approaches, areas of application functionality, or specific technical knowledge.
• Investigate and recreating problems and finding solutions for users to continue their work.
• Communicate product readiness, level of quality, and results to the Development Manager and the other members of the product team.
• Maintain and develop industry knowledge, skills and competencies in quality assurance practices.
What We’re Seeking
• Experience in developing scalable, highly available and high performing applications for Cloud.
• Proficiency in Java (java 17/21), Microservices, Spring, Maven/Gradle, Github, Docker, GitOps.
• Proficiency in gRPC, REST.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, principles, and patterns.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Knowledge of messaging framework/broker.
• Experience in asynchronous APIs and event-based communication.
• Proficiency with Java, Spring.
• Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, Neo4j, Iceberg, Apache Pinot.
• Good understanding of industry standard Vault services, such as Hashi Corp vault.
• Practical experience of automation tools and frameworks such as Cucumber, TestNG, Cypress, ViTest.
• Proficient in various programming languages for test automation such as Java, Typescript and Python
• Experience with Agile or Scaled Agile software development.
• Experience in software design with strong foundation of design models and database structures.
• Experience in writing product specifications and documenting product features to present them to a wider audience.
• Excellent communication and ability to articulate the design with architects and discuss strategy / requirements with teams.
• The ability to provide product demonstrations is an advantage
