We are seeking an experienced engineering manager to drive technical execution of our projects, ensuring effective leadership and support for various departments. This role requires hands-on expertise in technical leadership, project management, team oversight, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
Technical Leadership:
Lead and mentor the technical team in design, development, and implementation of solutions.
Oversee the adoption of new technologies, best practices, and innovative solutions to meet project requirements.
Project Leadership:
Plan, execute, and monitor technical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
Manage project resources, timelines, and risks while communicating progress to stakeholders.
Team Management & Technical Oversight:
Provide clear direction and coaching to team members, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
Ensure technical accuracy, code quality, and adherence to architectural principles through regular reviews and guidance.
Technical Documentation & Process Compliance:
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for projects and processes.
Ensure all projects comply with internal standards, industry best practices, and legal or regulatory requirements.
Support to BD & HR Departments:
Collaborate with Business Development (BD) to provide technical insights and support during client engagements, proposals, and solution design.
Assist HR in the recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of technical staff, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Qualifications and Skills
Hands-on experience in cloud management.
Understanding of mobile application development cycle.
Advantageous understanding of IoT protocols.
Hands-on experience in frontend and backend development.
Experience in managing an expanded team within a project.
Experience in product development on a small to large scale.
Advantageous handling of live projects/products with 10,000+ users.
Strong understanding of code deployment.
Well-versed in using AI (e.g., Copilot/ChatGPT) in the development cycle.
Ability to rapidly train a team on new technologies/approaches.
