Our goal: a place where all buyers in the renewable space (field engineers, procurement professionals, O&M professionals, etc), can find everything from consumables to highly technical parts and services across multiple sellers. We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with specialization on backend software development. In this role you will design software solutions and develop code, write unit test cases that ensures quality and health of overall Covento Software System, ensuring ++.++ % availability.
This role requires coding, design and analytical skills and will report directly to the Director of Software Engineering of Covento and work closely with the Product Management Team, third-party development team, Buyer Engagement, & Seller Development to ensure quality software product development and best in class customer experience.
Responsibilities
• Design and develop quality software solutions for ecommerce b2b marketplace platform based on business requirements
• Working with leadership and cross functional teams to ensure business requirements are met effectively
• Ownership of software deliverables, peer reviewer, hands on person
• Demonstrate advanced troubleshooting skills, ensures quality software product delivery
• Design and document software technical designs
• Work closely with other development team, architecture team, testing team to ensure overall product quality
• Must be flexible and ability with work with partners across departments and outside, across different cultures
Qualifications
• Master’s degree in computer science or related field
• 10+ years of hands-on experience on Software design and development, designing end to end solution, leading team of 5+ people of varied background
• Good working knowledge around Linux Systems, AMQP techniques, SQL, noSQL, Microservices, REST APIs
• Building secured application on - AWS, Azure and GCP, Implementing IT Security standards similar of ISO 27001
• Experience working with Enterprise / opensource Magento, Headless, GraphQL , Salesforce APEX flows
• Experience in one or more of the following programming languages: PHP, Python, Java, Golang, Kotlin
• Ability to work independently as well as on team, Mentors team members , good communication skills
• Worked with Analytics , understand IT Security frameworks , data privacy rules
• Experience in writing middleware logic using Microsoft Azure services, Cloud Storage, Magento, Salesforce, Mirakl, Adobe Analytics, CRM, SAP ERP, external payment provider systems, Tax engines
