Job Description
As a Software Engineering Manager, you will develop and maintain software systems that power IoT devices and applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, firmware engineers and also your development team under you to design and implement end-to-end IoT solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop software solutions for IoT devices and applications
• Manage a cross-functional team of developers
• Work closely with hardware and firmware teams to integrate the software with IoT devices
• Develop APIs and services that enable data collection and analysis from IoT devices
• Design and implement web-based dashboards and visualizations to display IoT data
• Write scalable, modular, and maintainable code
• Conduct code reviews and maintain high coding standards
• Identify and troubleshoot software defects and performance issues
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in IoT and software engineering
Requirements:
• B.Tech/B.Sc in Computer Science or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in software engineering
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, JavaScript, and C/C++
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React.js
• Experience with back-end frameworks such as Node.js, Flask, or Django
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of IoT protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, or HTTP
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
