Engineering Manager | AI Video Analytics | Perth, Australia

We are suporting an innovative company at the forefront of AI-driven video analytics, and we're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a growing technical team focused on delivering real-time, scalable, and intelligent video solutions.

This is a key leadership role in a product-focused environment, with strong backing and recent commercial success. You’ll help shape the future of a platform that’s actively deployed in high-impact, real-world environments.

What You'll Be Doing:

Leading and scaling a team of 5–20 engineers across backend, frontend, and AI/ML

Driving execution across video processing, model deployment, and platform reliability

Partnering with product teams and stakeholders to align on vision and delivery

Coaching engineers and cultivating a high-performing, supportive culture

Tech Environment Includes:

Video pipelines, real-time inference, edge compute

AI/ML frameworks like PyTorch and modern model architectures

Frontend in TypeScript/React and backend in Python

Containerised infrastructure and GPU environments

Ideal Background:

3+ years of engineering leadership experience

Strong technical foundation and ability to stay hands-on when needed

Experience in fast-moving product companies or scale-ups

Passion for AI, video, or computer vision domains a plus
