Location: Ahmedabad (US-based hours 7:30 pm – 4:30 am IST)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Software Engineering Mentor to join our team. The Software Engineering Mentor will play a pivotal role in guiding and mentoring individuals interested in pursuing careers in Software Development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Software Development, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to help others succeed in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to individuals at various levels of expertise, including beginners, students, and professionals, in understanding Software Engineering concepts, techniques, and best practices.
• Curriculum Development: Collaborate with the training and development team to design and develop comprehensive Software Engineering curricula tailored to the needs of learners, incorporating real-world case studies and projects.
• Technical Assistance: Assist mentees in solving technical challenges, debugging code, and implementing Software Development algorithms and models.
• Feedback and Evaluation: Offer constructive feedback on mentees' progress, assignments, and projects, identifying areas for improvement and providing resources to enhance learning outcomes.
• Knowledge Sharing: Stay updated on the latest trends, advancements, and tools in Software Development and share knowledge with mentees through workshops, seminars, and online platforms.
• Community Engagement: Foster a supportive and collaborative learning environment by organizing study groups, hackathons, and networking events for mentees to connect with peers and industry professionals.
• Career Guidance: Provide mentorship on career development, job search strategies, resume building, interview preparation, and portfolio development to help mentees navigate their Software Engineering career paths successfully.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Extensive experience working as a software engineer, with proficiency in multiple programming languages, frameworks, and tools commonly used in the industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Previous experience in mentoring, coaching, or teaching Software Engineering concepts is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, .NET, and Angular, familiarity with Software Development libraries and tools.
• Passion for learning and staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving learner needs and challenges.
