Experience Required
B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech
Possess typically 2 - 7 years of previous software engineering or related experience
Strong Java/J2EE, Microservice, Docker and Kubernatis
Provide technical and functional guidance and direction to team members
Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
Key Responsibilities
Drive strong engineering practices in the team to achieve excellence
To analyse problems and propose solutions by presenting working PoCs (beta code).
Delivering low defect code; while adhering to BT/Team Code Standards.
Support the Bugs and Problems user may face.
To interface with both the vendors and internal organisation at architects/designers/developers level.
Work as a team player to ensure the committed deadline is met with quality
To ensure the appropriate change control processes are established.
To conduct regular project reviews and implement corrective actions.
Open to evaluate latest technologies and willingness to innovate.
Enhance efficiency of dev/test/release process - develop tools, frameworks as required.
Adopt new and emerging technologies to provide solutions to client needs
Key Skills
Essential Skills
Good experience in project delivery including vendors.
Strong in designing & development in Core Java/J2EE/ applications
Ability to do deep dive on technical areas and get the best outcome out of technically challenging situations.
Technically strong and trouble shooting in Java, J2EE, microservice, Angular based applications
Experience in cloud native application development
Working knowledge of test driven development, ability to use refactoring techniques, performance tuning of application and automated test script development
Experience in microservice development (serverless)
Experience UI framework Angular based application development
Basic understanding of performance tuning, jconsole etc.
Conceptual understanding of Load balancers, DNS, server scaling.
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Experience in AGILE methodology of development
Experience in product development environments and knowledge of tools such as Subversion etc.
Knowledge of algorithms & data structures.
Excellent programming and debugging skills
Experience in developing server side solutions using component frameworks
Proven analytical & problem solving skills
Experience in use of continuous integration and automated code quality tools like CheckStyle, Junit etc.
Ability to quickly gather requirements, explore multiple approaches and suggest optimal solutions
Overall Skills and Experience
Experience in technical of complex project deliveries end-to-end with matrix managed structure.
Experience developing and designing Enterprise Application development Projects both from an Engineering and Project Management perspective
Self starter who can lead the way by setting up prototypes for vendor technical teams to follow
Contribute to the definition of the team processes and standards.
Experience in Devops.
