Job Title: Specialist - Software Engineering
Experience: 5-8 Years
Location: Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai
Salary: 23 LPA
Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days
As a Specialist in Software Engineering, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of cutting-edge software solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Understanding project requirements from various sources of information and documents within the team.
• Collaborating with Architects to assist in designing activities and estimating project work.
• Learning and adhering to best practices and methodologies within the program.
• Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code in accordance with program standards and guidelines.
• Adhering to established development processes within the program.
• Mentoring and providing guidance to existing and new team members.
• Identifying and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve project goals.
• Tracking progress, reporting status, and proactively addressing issues to Product Owners, Architects, and management.
• Demonstrating teamwork and a willingness to support colleagues in achieving project objectives.
• Taking personal ownership and accountability for delivering assigned tasks and deliverables within the established schedule.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior experience in the retail banking domain is required, with experience in Fiserv Signature International considered a plus.
• Regularly reporting progress to the Project Manager and ensuring timely completion with a focus on quality.
Skills & Requirements:
Technical Skillset:
• Strong experience with UI technologies such as HTML5 and React.
• Proficient in Java technologies including Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Microservices, and Spring JPA.
• Experience working with JSON and REST APIs.
• Full-stack development experience with expertise in Java, Groovy, and Kafka.
• Knowledge of Integration and unit testing, as well as Behavior-Driven Development.
• Strong integration design and development skills.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with Frameworks and Design Patterns, and the ability to understand complex architectural aspects.
• Experience integrating third-party applications.
• Agile development experience.
Good communication skills:
You should have strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
