The Software Engineering Specialist independently executes advanced activities to deliver the engineering strategy and roadmap that supports BT's commercial strategy through cross functional business partnering and the participation of a team that pursues innovation as well as engineering excellence.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 8+ years of IT experience required.
• Experience implementing applications using Java, Spring boot & OOPS concepts is a must have.
• Experience delivering applications developed using micro-services is a must to have.
• Experience with HTML5, JavaScript (ES7 is a plus), and Sass, (NodeJs/ReactJs/NextJs).
• Knowledge of MVVM frameworks.
• Industry experience with RESTful web service design, expertise in implementing CMS headless solutions using GraphQL.
• Ability to write and execute regression, unit, system, performance and integration testing.
• Good understanding/awareness of usability, accessibility, cross browser issues
• Excellent communication skills and capability to interact directly with the stakeholders (show and tells/requirement analysis sessions/retrospectives etc)
• Attitude to adapt new technologies is desirable.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related discipline (preferred
